Phantom of the Opera

Friday, October 27  7:30 p.m.

Join us for one of Richmond’s favorite Halloween events – the screening of the 1925 ORIGINAL “Phantom of the Opera” with the one and only Lon Chaney. This year’s screening of this iconic silent film is accompanied at console of the Mighty Wurlitzer, for the second year, by Mr. Michael Britt. Mr. Britt is a Baltimore native, traveling to Richmond specifically to play this event for the Byrd. He is a graduate of the Peabody Conservatory of Music and an internationally recognized organist.
Tickets are $15 each and may be purchased in advance at Bygones Vintage Clothing (next door to the Byrd). Tickets will only be sold AT the theatre the day of the event starting at 7:00 p.m. All proceeds from this event go towards the preservation of the Byrd’s world renowned Mighty Wurlitzer Organ.
