Ten Bill Murray Films, One Weekend

RICHMOND, Va., April 20, 2017 –  The idea might have you thinking, “You’re on a gravy train with biscuit wheels.”

The Byrd’s continued push to bring exciting new programming to the screen of Virginia’s Motion Picture Palace, introduces a new event next month you can binge watch with Mom. Virginians will flock to the Byrd to celebrate the comic genius (and dramatic talent) that is Bill Murray, through a unique one-weekend homage, titled MurrayFest.

May 12-14, The Byrd will host 10 favorite Bill Murray features over Mother’s Day Weekend. Festival Passes can now be purchased at an advance price of $25 online, cutting the a la carte price in half. Admission to all screenings but one will be $5. Saturday morning will remain at the Family Classic $4 admission.

Visit MurrayFest.us to purchase a $25 Festival Weekend Pass. Price increases after May 5th.

Then get in the spirit with the music video “Happy Street”, performed by Paul Schaffer and Bill Murray, featuring cameos of iconic characters from Murray’s films, a good representation of MurrayFest’s 10 features. How many can you spot?
